Special places, special holidays

If you choose Andalusia and Costa del Sol as your holiday destination, make sure that you don’t miss the Fuengirola Zoo. The zoo patiently waits for its visitors in the center of the town, where the employers have beautifully managed to recreate the natural habitat of hundreds of endangered species. It is children who especially love this place, but adults learn to love it too once they cross the zoo’s doorstep.

How the zoo appeared

The history of the Fuengirola Zoo starts in the 1970s, when it was just an ordinary zoo, with a lot of necessities. Once 1998 came, Rain Forest took the control of the zoo and decided to transform it into just one ecosystem, a subtropical one, as the area covered by the zoo didn’t permit a higher number of ecosystems. Their result is amazing: the natural habitat of hundreds of species from Madagascar, Equatorial Africa and even Southeastern Asia was so well recreated that they even have caves, waterfalls and valleys.

Beautiful species

The zoo hosts a lot of endangered species and the employers are very dedicated to their work of helping these endangered species to survive. A great work has been done with the chimpanzees. Back in the 1970s, when the conditions in the zoo were not some of the best, chimpanzees had a problem breeding successfully. Now that the conditions in the zoo are so close to those of their natural habitat, many baby chimpanzees were born, for the excitement of children and their parents who absolutely adore them. However, not only do chimpanzees breed successfully, but also species from Madagascar like lemurs, the tigers from Sumatra and the orangutans.

Inside the zoo

When you take your first step into the zoo, someone will take a picture of you, so that you have it as a memory. You will immediately feel like you’re inside an Asian or an African tropical rainforest: the noises, the sounds, the trees, and the animals will make you really feel like you are in the middle of nature. You’ll have the chance to see some amazing animals and birds, such as the Sumatran tiger, the friendly lemurs, the funny Orangutans who recently had a baby, Nile crocodiles and flamingos. If you visit the zoo in the warm evenings of July or August, you can have a delicious African meal, accompanied by traditional music and dancing. Enjoy Fuengirola Zoo!

Custom lapel pins from the zoo give people of all ages something to look forward to. As the excitement of the day winds down, visitors can stop inside the gift shop and look for personalized gifts to take home with them. They often choose custom lapel pins because of their small size and useful nature to give to family members and friends.
U
nlike other souvenirs that sit on shelves and collect dust, custom pins can be worn on an article of clothing or hat for others to see. Children can attach them to a bag, lanyard or hat and take them to school with them. This gives them something to talk about because it reminds them of the time that they had on their trip to the zoo.

Zoo lapel pins can feature the zoos name and location. They also can be cut to shape and resemble the different animals at the zoo. This allows visitors to have a selection to choose from when they shop for pins. It also gives gift stores the opportunity to sell entire collections of custom lapel pins because people come to love them so much.

If you are in charge of merchandising at your citys zoo, make sure to order some custom lapel pins to sell this year. In addition to the visual impact that they make, they also have sentimental value. People become emotionally attached to their pins because they remind them on their trip to the zoo.

London Zoo, situated for the north of Regent’s Park, stands out as the world’s oldest scientific zoo. Opened on April 27 in 1828 by the Zoological Society of London, it was very first intended to become employed primarily like a location to hold animals inside local area for scientific study. On the other hand it was opened for the public in 1847 and has because been a popular attraction for tourists and Londoners alike. While as soon as holding bigger animals such as rhinos and elephants, these have now been moved to a more spacious zoo in Bedfordshire, which is run by the exact same organization. Smaller species are instead the focus of the London Zoo, of which it houses well over 5000 that in turn represent about 650 species. Some of they’re highlighted by the major exhibitions that are currently hosted.

One with the best of these is Gorilla Kingdom that is certainly a massive island on which a group of western lowland gorillas are kept. The area is constructed to resemble the western lowland gorillas’ natural environment. It for that reason contains plants and herbs it can take in as well as other inhabitants the gorilla would typically live in close proximity to, just like Nile monitors, Diana monkeys, mangabeys and black and white colobus monkeys. Another major exhibition may be the Blackburn Pavilion, which basically is an updated Bird Residence that recreates rainforest and cloud forest environments. It contains over 50 various species of birds, some of them in danger of becoming or even in the wild already extinct.

The Clore Rainforest Lookout is one more London Zoo flagship exhibit. It’s built to recreate the South-American rainforest, so as to offer an ample household for species just like the two-toed sloth, the southern tamandua, the agoutis, the gentle lemur and Goeldi’s monkey, among others. Each canopy and forest floor levels are out there by the public. Additionally a darkened section is available. It enables an insight to the rainforest at night, and includes species just like the Rodrigues fruit bat, the emperor scorpion and also the Malagasy giant jumping rat.

Other exhibits feature animals from all more than the globe and are only much less notable for their modest scale in comparison on the aforementioned four.

London Zoo is open every day in the year except for Christmas day in between 10 inside the morning and 4 inside the afternoon, in the last admission being an hour ahead of closing. Given the size in the zoo and its limited opening hours, visitors are suggested to occur as early as feasible so as to not have to rush through the experience. It is easily obtainable from anywhere inside the city by public transportation, but in situation staying the night nearby is preferable.

If you going for days out in London then must buy London Zoo tickets online in advance to save few dollars.

Boston is a city that reconnects the old and the new; it is a city where the historical buildings and tales of the American Civil War live side by side with the modern art and culture, academia and vibrant nightlife. Boston is many things to many people as it is a truly multifaceted modern city. It is considered by many to be the unofficial capital of New England because it is the city which has the largest economy and the most cultural impact on the region.
In being such a vibrant, modern metropolis, the city will no doubt have many attractions for the visitors. These range from historical monuments and interesting architecture to chic restaurants, art galleries and museums. Among all of these interesting things to do in Boston, a visit to the Franklin Park Zoo is one that many families would love to experience.
The Franklin Park Zoo is one of the largest in the region at a land extent of 72 acres; it is operated by Zoo New England, which also manages another zoo in the state. It is located on the northern part of Franklin Park, which is named after the illustrious Boston-born Benjamin Franklin. This is also important as it forms the last part of the Boston Emerald Necklace – which is a network of public parks that form a semi circular green belt around the city.
At the inception of the Franklin Park Zoo in 1912, the creators envisioned it to be a zoo where the animals would be kept in open enclosures mimicking their natural habitat rather than the traditional zoo concept which restricts them in cages. Over the years, the site has had many makeovers but the core concept has always remained the same.
Today this site has many exhibits, the most popular ones being the Tropical Rainforest, the Serengeti Crossing, Kalahari Kingdom and the Outback Trail. Another popular section is the Children’s Zoo which includes farmyard animals such as ducks and horses and also two very rare Russian Amur Leopards.
Visitors can access this attraction from many Boston hotels as it is well connected via public transport. This is an interesting attraction for guests who want to explore the city while staying at a luxury hotel in Boston such as The Langham Boston.

The atmosphere at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo is more circus-like than a zoo-like. The older tigers perform various tricks such as gracefully jumping through rings of fire, walking on their hind legs and doing dances with their trainers. There are also elephants included in the show and they literally steal the show with their basketball games and fashion shows. One of the most interesting tricks is the one performed with a crocodile. A trainer opens up the crocs mouth then puts his head in the crocs mouth!

There are other animals that call the zoo home. There are the Peruvian guinea pigs, ostriches, pigs, wallabies and deer. The zoo breeds tigers and it is endearing to see mother pigs acting as surrogate mommies to the baby tigers. There are times that piglets and tiger cubs suckle milk from the sow (mother pig).

Part of the zoos attraction is the feeding of the tiger cubs by guests. Tourists have the option to have their picture taken with the baby tigers and crocodiles. They could also feed the wallabies, ostriches and deer or simply observe the animals.

An exciting part of the zoo tour happens between the months of May to August. The Sriracha Tiger Zoo is host to the Crocodile Hatching Festival. This is the time when baby crocodiles are hatched. Tourists are allowed to view baby crocs gingerly break out if their eggs. Another attraction of the zoo is the Scorpion Queen where a woman wears more than a hundred live scorpions on her body.

The Elephant Museum is a curiosity as guests learn all about the history of the elephants in Thailand. The elephant is the national animal of Thailand. They are highly revered for they once served generations of Thai royalty.

Theres a pig race that is part of the attraction and the genius pig aptly named Piggy that can do math problems in 5 languages. If one gets hungry theres the S&R restaurant that serves both local and international cuisine.

A day at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Pattaya is definitely worth it. The atmosphere is conducive for the whole family. The Happy Family is definitely exhibited by the friendly relationship among tigers, pigs and dogs. Seeing a mom pig feed tiger cubs is an endearing scene. When in Pattaya it would be more advantageous if you book in Dusit Thani for a hassle-free stay and comfortable living.

The Sriracha Tiger Zoo is still up and running as it is supported by the Thai government. The zoo is open from 8:00am to 6:00 pm daily. On weekends all you can eat buffet is available.
